Thank you for subscribing Wu Fei’s Music Daily! This is the 139th episode — Guzheng piano two hands medley.
It was recorded and filmed on April 29 this year. During the early lockdown days, I was unsure about what I was supposed to do everyday. My children were home 24/7. I was trying to figure out what my work was going look like and when the pandemic would end. I’m sure you all were in panic and confusion back then. For the first time in my life, I couldn’t play with other musicians in the same room.
Practicing music helped me to escape the harsh reality. I started writing guzheng and piano duet pieces. I was pushed to do everything by myself at the same time. This video was the first completion of this new experiment of playing guzheng and piano, and as singing at the same time.
