This choral composition was created and recorded yesterday on multitrack vocals and guzheng, performed by me.
The entire work is based on a sequence of major triads. I sing the middle pitches and play the two outer pitches. Since the 20th century, major triads in classical music have been used less and less. In my opinion, it is sad and weird. If it is a “fashion” to not use major triads, then I think it is ridiculous. They can sound very interesting if you make them interesting. Both my 70-year old mother and my 9-year old daughter like this piece a lot. Hope you enjoy it too!
