It was created and recorded yesterday on 2-track guzheng, inspired by the sweet rice/date cake my mother made for our lunar new year’s eve dinner. The character in the center is 福: happiness or good luck, see photo below. It has been a new year tradition in my family. We are still in the middle of lunar new year celebration, which lasts for fifteen days.
