Thank you for subscribing to Wu Fei’s Music Daily. This is the #329 episode — Lava bubble 火球.
This composition was created and recorded on multitrack guzheng. I used a metal guitar slide to create a constant microtonal rhythmic pattern on different pitches except the melodic track. It was a fun experiment. As I was trying this new sound, I was instantly reminded of my favorite video game from childhood —Super Mario Bros.
