After a week long road trip to New York State with my family, we are happy to be home in Nashville again. During this trip, I got to see many parts of the U.S. that I had not previously visited. After a year of a half not being able to go anywhere, we all needed this trip. Even if it was tiring at times on the road, especially to my two children (nine and six years old), we experienced so much together. We met people and made new friends from different parts of the country. Our life is richer than a week ago.
For the first time, we saw Lake Erie in Pennsylvania. It was like an ocean. It reminded us of Mission Bay of Auckland, New Zealand.
