Hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving holiday if you are in the U.S.. Hanukkah 2021 has started since Sunday. Hope you are having a wonderful festival if you celebrate this Jewish tradition.

This piece was created and recorded yesterday on kalimba and guzheng, performed by me. My dear uncle Ron and aunt Barbra gave me a kalimba as a gift over thanksgiving. I can’t think of a better gift that I’d love more than an instrument. So I made my first piece right away.

Jeremy and I went to The Nations recently. It is the neighborhood we lived for the first year when we moved to Nashville in 2015. The silo behind us did not have the painting on it back then. The neighborhood has changed a lot since then.
