This piece was created and recorded yesterday morning on 3-track guzheng. Lately, I have started to get my daily creations done in the morning before I need to homeschool my children. There is an old Chinese saying “一天之计在于晨，一年之计在于春”, the plan for a day lies in the morning, the plan for a year lies in the spring. Getting my practice and composing done in the morning is a fresh new routine that I hope to stick with it for as long as I can. To give myself a challenge from practicing in the morning when I fingers were stiff, I decided to not think too much about any structure but to warm up my fingers. Therefore, I played all 16th notes throughout this track at 185 beats per minute. It was a good start of the day!
