Hi everyone,
Buddha beebalm is a two-track guzheng composition.
I wrote and recorded the piece yesterday inspired by the eastern beebalm flower that is blossoming in the forest near my home in Nashville (photo below). The plant is native to the central and southeastern United States. The flowers of eastern beebalm produce copious quantities of nectar which attracts bumblebees and other long-tongued bees, butterflies, beeflies and hummingbirds. The shape of the flower reminds me of the thousand-hand Guanyin buddha.
Wish you all a restful weekend!
