This solo guzheng improvisation was recorded yesterday, twelve hours after a massive tornado that tore across middle-north Tennessee. We were lucky (again) that the tornado missed our area by not too far. Two suburbs of Nashville -Clarksville and Hendersonville were hit the worst, Lives were lost and houses were destroyed. I was driving to pick up my daughter from a friend’s house when the state-wide tornado alert screamed out of my cellphone telling people to take shelter immediately. A tornado was on the ground! We got home safely following my husband’s texts. He was able to direct me via a local live-weather YouTube channel (@NashSevereWx on X and YouTube) to take the southern route to come home. At the time, none of the us had any idea how destructive the tornado was. A million thanks to the guys at Nashville Severe Weather. Their work saves lives!
