I composed and recorded this four-track guzheng étude yesterday. I saw a sweet little conehead on my front porch two days ago (photo below). Its green coat and black stripe in the back were pretty. Then I looked it up on the internet and discovered the “songs” of this little insect. They make crazy loud sounds with all kinds of patterns!
