To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the historical trip of the Philadelphia Orchestra to China in 1973, I am honored to perform with the orchestra presenting my work “Hello Gold Mountain 同舟” on September 21, Thursday in Memorial Hall, Chapel Hill, NC presented by Carolina Performing Arts.
Second half of the evening is Beethoven Symphony No.6. It feels great to open for Beethoven!
