#770 — Gravity smile and concert review 力万像

This three-track counterpoint guzheng piece was recorded yesterday. The quarter-dotted note theme is throughout the piece. Everything else is an extension of the theme in an non-strict canon style in terms of compositional structure. I did not intend to develop the piece this way when I started the first track. Hearing what I had come up with from the first track drew me into an irresistible force that the second and third part came out instantly.

I would also like to share a wonderful concert review from The Seattle Times for my chamber orchestra composition Hello Gold Mountain, performed by the Bellingham Symphony Orchestra featuring oudist Shanir Blumenkranz and myself on guzheng/voice, conducted by Yaniv Attar. Please see photo below and click here to read full review.

Hope this piece starts your week with a moment of relaxation. Stay tuned for more exciting concerts & projects announcements for North America, Latin America and Europe!
