This solo night song was created and recorded yesterday. After a few busy days looking after family members, I needed a calm tune to retune myself into the weekend.

Thanks to Becca Finley for putting the show together. Becca is the co-producer of a PBS TV series called Ear to the Common Ground, along with producer Todd Mayo (Underground Bluegrass at The Cavern for PBS). I am one of the featured artists in this series.
Ear to the Common Ground episodes were taped this April in a barn, on Cash Ln in Music City in a special place that once was the home of Country Music Hall Of Fame members June Carter, Carl Smith, Marty Stuart, Patsy Cline, Jim Denney, Mother Maybelle Carter as well as Carlene Carter, Cindy Cash and more. The series will air this fall on PBS and each of the 12 episodes will have one artist and one topic.
The series will highlight the wonderful diversity of America in many ways: ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, geography and most importantly the project will celebrate the diversity of thought and opinion.
