Good morning, afternoon, and evening,
Thank you for being patient with me for the last a few days!
I had a great time performing for the community of University Notre Dame with my dear friend and music collaborator Abigail Washburn. We started off with a stressful drive leaving Nashville last Thursday. Tornado warnings and flood warnings kept popping out of our phones every twenty minutes. The rain was pouring down very heavily the whole time as we drove through Kentucky. But we made it to South Bend, Indiana safely.
On Saturday, forty minutes before our concert at the Leighton Concert Hall, our phones started to get buzzing tornado watch warnings again from Nashville. Abby and I directed our families over the phone to get them drive back home safely from watching the YouTube live stream from the Nashville Severe weather channel. It was the most intense pre-show backstage experience I’ve ever had. Everyone was safe, whew! We had a blast playing on stage that night.
This track was recorded today. It’s been sunny and beautiful in Nashville unlike the day I left. Hope it brings everyone a moment of relaxation.

This was the storm on top of Nashville from the live YouTube channel of Nashville Severe Weather, forty minutes before we got on stage. I thought it was a supercell sweeping through Nashville.
