Thank you for subscribing Wu Fei’s Music Daily! This is the 106th episode — Rat 2020, which I am also sending out to non-paying subscribers.
I want to take this moment to send my gratitude to your generous support since the very beginning when I launched this new project in early May this year. It is a privilege to have supporters and audiences from all over the globe - Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Oceania. This year has made history and it is still setting all kinds of records everyday. This piece is a summary for what has been going through my mind since the pandemic started.
The recording was completed yesterday. I started experimenting with these virtual instruments about three weeks ago. And then I let those tracks sit for a while until yesterday when I felt the a craving to put a conclusion to it. So I added the guzheng. It has been a fascinating learning experience for me. My music vocabularies have certainly been widened through this project . Thank you for being with me, and I hope to perform live again for you when it’s safe to travel again.
