#990 — Guzheng night song 79 古筝夜曲第七十九号

Hi everyone,

This solo guzheng night song was recorded yesterday. It was an improvisation inspired by the silverleaf hydrangea (photo below). It is blossoming all over the forest along the creek side near my home in Nashville. You can hear the birds’ constant chirping in the recording.

Silver hydrangea is native to the mountainous region (usually above 2,000 feet elevation) in the southern Blue Ridge Mountains from southeast Tennessee, east to North Carolina and northwestern South Carolina, and south to northeastern Georgia of the United States. Wish you all a restful weekend!
