#944 — The eye of the dragon 龙睛 | Concerts in Europe

Hi everyone,

This three-voice guzheng composition was recorded yesterday, the last day of the Chinese New Year celebration. Last night, the bright moon rose high and lit up the entire forest (photo below). It was the first full moon of the Year of the Wood Dragon.

Spring is the season to plant seeds. I am excited to share my new music residency that will take place in Europe from March 10-18, 2024. For friends who are in or near Belgium, I am premiering two new projects with some of the most envelope-pushing artists in Ghent. Click on the links below for details:

   DIJF explored the music of Java, Nepal and most recently Georgia, and made wondrous soundtracks with them.

   Simon Segers percussionist and drummer (De Beren Gieren, STADT, Black Flower etc.) treads paths between free, jazz and rock and developed a very personal style.

   Louise van den Heuvel breathtaking bassist who just released her new single is greedy for all things adventure.
