#915 — The Milky Way has fallen down 银河落九天 | Concert venue in Canada corrected

Hi everyone,

I composed this multitrack guzheng piece yesterday, performed by me. I was inspired by a poem written by Li Bai (701 - 762 A.D.), one of the most famous Chinese poets from the Tang Dynasty. The poem is called The Waterfall of Mount Lu 望廬山瀑布:

日照香爐生紫煙,遙望瀑布掛前川。

飛流直下三千尺,疑是銀河落九天。

My translation:

Sunlight shines on the incense burner and illuminates its purple smoke
In the distance there is a waterfall
The water tumbles straight down three thousand feet
As if the Milky Way has tumbled down to earth

I’d also like to tell you about my upcoming concerts in Canada (flyer below, solo concert venue corrected). It will be my debut in Canada as part of the Winnipeg New Music Festival. It will be the Canada premiere of Hello Gold Mountain with the Winnipeg Symphony. I am really excited! If you are in Winnipeg or have friends and family there, I’d love to see you at my concerts,
