#733 — Shadows and boats 影子，船

Dear listeners,

Twenty fours hours ago, I returned home from a week of concert residency with the Bellingham Symphony Orchestra in Washington state. It was a wonderful week rehearsing and delivering two successful concerts last weekend in Bellingham. I have attached some photos from this trip (see below). Wish I had photos from the concert. I was too busy playing on stage :)

Bellingham is a beautiful city. Wish it was warmer last week so I could enjoy outdoor rather than staying inside because of the freezing temperature that hit the west coast.

This solo guzheng piece was created and recorded yesterday. After a week of intense work and traveling, my energy was low though my zone was deep because meeting the wonderful people of Bellingham had enriched my life.

I am honored and grateful to have played another beautiful Hello Gold Mountain concert with all these amazing musicians - Bellingham Symphony Orchestra + Shanir Blumenkranz (oud) & conductor Yaniv Attar.

Made new friends from the post-concert reception with community leaders, patrons, supporters of the symphony, the theatre and the arts / education communities. Always looking forward to be back!
