Good morning, afternoon, and evening,
I recorded this solo guzheng night song today. Yesterday, I saw a baby kingsnake in Edwin Warner Park in Nashville (photo below). It was scrawling on the hiking trail trying to get to the other side of the road. This summer has been much cooler than the previous years in Nashville. It also has been an exceptionally rainy year, with one of the wettest starts to a year on record, with 31 inches of rain so far. The average rainfall at this point of the year is 23.8 inches. And with all that rain comes flash flooding and fallen trees. I have seen many more snakes than ever I recall. Most the snakes here are non-venomous, and they are quite chill just wanting to sunbath. I see as a lucky sign encountering many snakes in the year of the snake :) Hope this song brings you a moment of peace.
